# Introduction We take care of the collection of digital data from your systems, machines, infrastructures or existing systems. The data is then consolidated and stored by us and can be queried via standard interfaces (e.g. OPC UA). The core features of openconnect is to handle connections to plc devices or api endpoints using the MQTT Protokoll. The core is used by the open.CONNECT Instance.
