# Data Explorer The Data explorer enables you to Select which Data in what Time period should be displayed in what way. In Comparison to Widget the Data Explorer focuses on what Data should be presented rather than how. There are 3 Different kinds of Time periods: - Latest value -> Get the newest Datapoints. - Relative time selection -> Select a Value and a timeframe(second,min,hours,day,week,month,year). - Absoulute time selection -> Select a "From - to" Date.   After choosing the data you want, you choose the form in which it should be presented. Only the represantations for the fitting data types are chooseable. For example you can't display temperature (int) values in a map. Next you set your settings and as easy like that, you are good to go.
