# Table (single dimension)
Widget type: `opendash-widget-table-dimension` · Plugin: `@opendash/plugin-highcharts`
## Description
Shows the historical values of a single data point as a table, optionally reduced to its peak loads. Each row lists the timestamp (with a relative "time ago" label), the weekday, the item name, the value-type/dimension with unit, and the value. When a percentile is configured, only the values at or above that percentile are shown — for example the highest 10% of readings — making it a quick peak-load / limit-value table. Rows are sorted from newest to oldest.
> Note: The widget title comes from the translation key `highcharts:table.name` (`Table - {{name}}`, where `{{name}}` is replaced with the selected data source name at runtime). Its data-explorer title and description reuse the generic table strings.
## Data requirements
- Selection: by dimension (`select: "dimension"`).
- Data items: exactly 1 (min 1, max 1).
- Allowed value types: Number, Boolean, String.
- Data fetching: history is required (`historyRequired: true`); live is also enabled.
- This widget has no settings UI (`settingsComponent: null`); the only option is set via the data-explorer / preset config.
## Options
| Option | Type | Default | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `percentile` | number (0–1) | `0.9` (data-explorer config and preset) | Quantile threshold. Only values greater than or equal to this percentile of the selected data point are displayed. With the default 0.9 the table shows the highest 10% of values (peak loads). If unset/falsy, all values are shown. |
## Presets
- Lastspitzen-Tabelle / Peak-Load Table — Übersicht über die Lastspitzen (höchsten 10%) / Overview of the load peaks (highest 10%). Default config: `percentile: 0.9`. Tagged `table`.
Data-explorer entry: `Table - {{name}}` — "Shows historical values of different data sources in a table", with default config `percentile: 0.9`.
## How to use
1. Add the widget from the data explorer / widget catalog (table category).
2. Select exactly one data item (Number, Boolean, or String). A history time range is required.
3. The table lists each reading with its timestamp, relative time, weekday, item, dimension (with unit), and value, newest first.
4. To restrict the table to peak values, set `percentile` (0–1) in the preset/data-explorer configuration; the default 0.9 shows the top 10% of values. There is no in-widget settings panel for this option.
